Why should I pay my dues in a bad budget year?

RP Group dues are used to underwrite free or low cost professional development for institutional research offices and student learning outcomes coordinators.  These funds enable us to keep our website resources up to date, cover regional research group costs, support our work on SLOs, give the RP and POWER Awards, hold the RP Conference and the Summer Institute, and new this year ... will pay for a free webinar series.

These resources are of great value to colleges because they provide the tools, relationships, and knowledge that research offices need to efficiently and effectively support college efforts to document their outcomes and improve student success.

Instructions for Joining

Membership in the RP Group is generally made at the institutional level. Once your organization has joined, any number of employees may access RP services.  In addition, the institution will be able to vote for RP Group board representatives.

If your organization is new to the RP Group, please follow the process outlined below to join. Current members will need to renew their memberships at the beginning of each academic year and should include an updated contact form with their dues.

1. Fill out the contact form (see link in the right column).

2. Print out this form and submit it, along with a check, to the address below.

3. If you need an invoice, you may download one for either 2010-11 or 2011-12.

Membership fees

An Individual College: $350

A District Office: $350

An Organization: $150*

Individual Associate*: $75*

*Organizations are available to entities that support community colleges. Individual associate memberships are available to people who are not employed at a California community college. These membership types entitle one to all member services except for voting rights.
