The presentation will include a review of key learning theories that support CTL, a discussion of eleven practices as told from the perspective of faculty and program directors implementing these courses/programs, and an exchange about key considerations for implementing CTL as part of the Basic Skills Initiative. The presenters will highlight common elements found in these examples, which can be used as a benchmark for practitioners who are considering or currently implementing their own CTL practice.
