The Summer Institute is designed for new institutional researchers and planners, as well as those who are new to the California community college system. Over an intensive four day period, you will learn from leaders in the field, engage in hands-on activities, and implement what you’ve learned in a group project. You will also get to know your IR peers, building strong networks that will support you in your work.

What it Costs
Institute registration is $550, and includes meals. We encourage participants to make lodging reservations at the Kellogg West conference center to make it easier to attend the evening portions of the program. Rooms cost $95 per night, and can be reserved by calling 800-593-7876. Please reference the "RP Group" when making your reservations.
Because conference funding may be scarce in many districts due to the budget crisis, colleges may want to explore the possibility of supporting participation of their research and planning professionals by drawing on budgets related to the Basic Skills Initiative, VTEA, Title III & Title V Grants, accreditation, or professional development.
Where You'll Be
The Kellogg West site is conveniently located near the Ontario Airport, and offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport (reservations required).
