2010 Strengthening Student Success Conference
The Strengthening Student Success conference provides a unique opportunity for a wide cross-section of people to gather and brainstorm ways to strengthen institutional effectiveness and student learning.
The Strengthening Student Success conference provides a unique opportunity for a wide cross-section of people—including faculty, deans, program directors, student services staff, professional development leadership, researchers, and planners—to gather and brainstorm ways to strengthen institutional effectiveness and student learning. Our 2010 conference explored the translation of information into action, as well as the integration of instruction, basic skills, student services, CTE, and college institutional effectiveness structures.
The conference has been designed to promote interactive learning, build connections with your peers, and provide opportunities to hear perspectives from other disciplines. In addition to interactive conference sessions, informative briefings, and inspirational keynote presentations, participants had the opportunity to dig into pressing community college issues at facilitated problem solving sessions, join half-day intensive workshops, and spend time networking. Conference strands addressed cross-cutting issues such as Collaborative Inquiry, Equity, and Accreditation & Institutional Effectiveness.
