Each year the RP Group recognizes outstanding research and planning efforts.
The following awards were presented at the 36th Annual RP Group Conference.

April, 1998

Dr. John Evans:
In recognition of his role in furthering the knowledge and understanding of institutional research at the community colleges, John Evans is hereby thanked and honored for his many contributions. Given on behalf of the Research and Planning Group for California Community Colleges (dated April 15, 1998 and signed by Jon Kangas).

Dr. James Lucas:
In recognition of his role as a role model in institutional research and planning at the community colleges, James Lucas is hereby thanked and honored for his many contributions. Given on behalf of the Research and Planning Group for California Community Colleges (dated April 15, 1998 and signed by John Evans).

Dr. Judith Beachler:
The 1997 Award of Distinction in Institutional Research for An Environmental Scan of the Greater Sacramento Area (dated April 15, 1998 and signed by John Evans).
