Frederick Hernandez

Frederick Hernandez is a first-generation college student attending California State University, Northridge, as a sociology major and will be graduating in May 2026 with a bachelor’s degree. He is currently employed as an English Tutor Leader at Los Angeles Pierce College for the Center for Academic Success, where he advocates and provides a safe learning environment for his tutees. He also facilitates mentor sessions with fellow tutors on how to refine tutoring styles that benefit both the tutor and tutee, and methods for setting up boundaries. In his free time, Frederick enjoys practicing bass guitar, listening to music, and playing trading card games with friends.
