IRPE Onboarding Canvas Course 

Are you new to California community colleges and/or institutional, research, planning, and effectiveness (IRPE)? The RP Group designed a self-paced IRPE onboarding course in Canvas to help build foundations associated with the following:

  • The role of an IRPE office

  • Statewide data sources

  • State and federal reporting requirements for California’s community colleges

  • Key statewide initiatives impacting the California Community Colleges (CCC) system

  • Equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility within the context of CCC and IRPE operations

  • Common quantitative and qualitative research methods

  • Survey design principles

  • Designing effective and accessible data visualizations

  • Research tools and resources

  • Participatory governance and institutional planning priorities

  • Enrollment management

  • Where to find additional IRPE professional learning resources


 

 

Course Registration Fee

This course has been designed for researchers, by researchers—with a particular emphasis on student-focused innovation and equity-minded priorities across the California Community Colleges system.

The registration fee is based on RP Group membership status and course participants will maintain continuous access to their coursework throughout their employment with the college, district, or organization that pays the course registration fee.
